Prepare the required ingredients, tomatoes, onions, and garlic -

Peel the tomatoes (scald with boiling water to make peeling easier) and cut into small cubes, cut the garlic into minced garlic and cut the onion into small cubes for later use -

Add oil to the pot and heat over low heat until it is hot -

Pour in the onion and sauté over low heat until fragrant -

Pour in tomatoes over medium heat and stir-fry until juices come out -

Add sugar after the juice is made -

Add salt, cover the pot and continue to simmer over low heat -

Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until the tomatoes are soft, add minced garlic and stir-fry -

After the juice is reduced, add thirteen spices (our family doesn’t like the taste of pizza grass, so I used Chinese spices instead) -

Put it into an airtight bowl and store it in the refrigerator for 7 to 10 days (but eat it as soon as possible)
Tips
1. Choose tomatoes that are ripe, so they are easy to cook and the color is more beautiful
2. If the color is not red enough, you can also add some tomato paste to adjust the color.
